Get ‘Trapt’ in the Madhouse on 12 August
Here’s a chance to get TRAPT. Lantern Ghost Tours has returned to the iconic Point Cook Homestead, which means guests will discover the homestead’s hidden past and solve clues in a new, interactive ghost tour experience run in conjunction with Escape Room experts Trapt.
The event will take place on 12 August in what is considered one of Melbourne’s most haunted historic sites, established by early settlers in 1853. The homestead has a long history of eerie and otherworldly encounters and a dark history of love, lust and betrayal.
Point Cook Homestead dates back to the 1850s and is believed to be home to more than 6 spirits including the original owner Thomas Chirnside and a stable boy
“I went on the Trapt experience in Melbourne and loved it so much I asked the team to work with us to create a special ghost tour for Point Cook Homestead,” said Lantern Ghost Tours founder Jacqueline Travaglia.
“The evening begins with a mysterious murder taking place and our guests stand accused, framed for the crime. Guests must explore the haunted Homestead with their guide and collect evidence in order to prove their innocence and escape. The fact the property really is haunted adds to the evening,” she adds.
In addition to the TRAPT experience, Lantern Ghost Tours also run ghost tours on the last Saturday of every month and paranormal activity tours throughout the year. Point Cook Homestead dates back to the 1850s and is believed to be home to more than 6 spirits including the original owner Thomas Chirnside and a stable boy. The fascinating 25 acre heritage property is only a stone’s throw from Melbourne and is surrounded by private beach and farmland.
