Mahindra Aerospace CEO address UIA business leaders

United India Associations invited S P Shukla, Group President and CEO, Mahindra’s Aerospace, Defence and Steel Businesses, to address and interact with prominent Indian business leaders in Sydney, creating an opportunity for them to network with an industry leader from India and listen to his unique success stories in an informal set-up.

A high profile front-runner, S P Shukla has won many awards including the Graham Bell Award for the fastest network rollout, Brand Builder award at the World Marketing Congress, Lifetime Achievement Award in Agile Manufacturing and the CEO of the Year Award at the World Marketing Congress.

At the Business Leaders’ Network meeting on 18 February at the Royal India restaurant in Strathfield, Mr Shukla spoke about the growing and flourishing India-Australia relationships under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “This new synergy between the two countries has gone beyond the passion for cricket forging new pathways for joint business partnership initiatives and ventures,” said Mr Shukla, as he spoke about the presence of Mahindra in the Australian auto industry and their collaboration with Aerostaff Australia which has helped tap into the burgeoning defence and commercial aviation market. He also spoke about the new helicopter plant that is being set up near Melbourne.

Support Independent Community Journalism

Dear Reader,

The Indian Sun exists for one reason: to tell stories that might otherwise go unheard.
We report on local councils, state politics, small businesses and cultural festivals. We focus on the Indian diaspora and the wider multicultural community with care, balance and accountability. We publish in print and online, send regular newsletters and produce video content. We also run media training programs to help community organisations share their own stories.

We operate independently.

Community journalism does not have the backing of large media corporations. Advertising revenue fluctuates. Platform algorithms change. Costs continue to rise. Yet the need for credible, grounded reporting in a multicultural Australia has never been greater.

When you support The Indian Sun, you support:

• Independent reporting on issues affecting migrant communities
• Coverage of local and state decisions that shape daily life
• A platform for small businesses and community groups
• Media training that builds skills within the community
• Journalism accountable to readers

We cannot cover everything, but we work to cover what matters.

If you value thoughtful reporting that reflects Australia’s diversity, we invite you to contribute. Every donation helps us maintain the quality and consistency of our work.

Please consider making a contribution today.

Thank you for your support.
