Hola Health will have a larger presence on Australia’s national cricket teams this season after expanding its partnership with Cricket Australia to become a Gold Partner.
The digital healthcare provider’s logo will appear on the lower back of the Australia men’s and women’s playing shirts for international matches played in Australia across Test, one-day and T20 formats. It will also feature on training apparel worn by players and support staff.
The expanded arrangement comes less than a year after Hola Health signed a four-year agreement as Cricket Australia’s Official Digital Health Partner.
Cricket Australia Chief Commercial Officer Ed Sanders said the partnership had developed quickly since it began last summer.
“Hola Health has been a fantastic partner to work with since joining the CA family last summer, and we’re excited to see that partnership grow in year two,” he said.
Sanders said Cricket Australia remained focused on the wellbeing of its workforce and the wider cricket community.
“We are committed to the wellbeing of participants and the broader cricket community, so Hola Health’s mission to making healthcare more accessible compliments that well,” he said.
“We’re looking forward to seeing the Hola Health logo on our national team’s playing kits for games in Australia in the coming years.”
The agreement also extends beyond branding, with Cricket Australia employees continuing to receive complimentary access to Hola Health’s digital healthcare services.
Hola Health offers Australians round-the-clock access to AHPRA-registered GPs, doctors and other health practitioners through an online platform. The service includes video consultations, prescriptions, medical certificates and, for employer health programs, mental health and psychology consultations. Pharmacy delivery is also available in selected locations.
Hola Health co-founder and chief executive Lenin Rajendran said the expanded partnership reflected the company’s ambition to improve access to healthcare across Australia.
“We are incredibly proud to elevate our relationship with Cricket Australia and step up as a Gold Partner,” he said.
“Cricket is an integral part of Australian life, and just as the sport unites the nation, our mission at Hola Health is to ensure that every Australian – regardless of their postcode – has timely access to quality medical care.”
Rajendran said the greater visibility provided by the partnership would help promote that message during Australia’s home international fixtures.
“This expanded collaboration allows us to champion wellbeing on a national scale, and we are thrilled to see our new Hola Health logo featured prominently on the national teams’ playing kits and support staff training apparel during so many iconic matches across the country.”
