UNIFIED Music Group has joined forces with India’s 7Entertainment and STARtist Management to create a joint venture aimed at building stronger bridges between Indian and international music markets. The partnership will work across live touring, artist management and recorded music, with a shared goal of connecting artists and audiences in both directions.
The collaboration is led by UNIFIED Founder and CEO Jaddan Comerford and 7Entertainment and STARtist Management Founder Sidhartha Todi, who share an artist-first philosophy and a commitment to long-term cultural exchange. The pair first met outside a sold-out Vance Joy show in Barcelona in 2023, when Todi asked Comerford’s partner and Vance’s manager, Rachael Tulloch, for a ticket. A later meeting in Mumbai cemented a working relationship that has developed into the new venture.
The announcement was made at All About Music in Mumbai after a year of cooperation that has already seen international tours for Radhika Das, ISHAN and Jahnavi Harrison. STARtist, established by Todi, is known for its role in India’s independent music scene and its reputation for staging strong live shows through 7Entertainment.

“India is one of the most dynamic and fast-growing music markets in the world. This partnership gives us the opportunity to not only contribute to its growth but to open new doors for Indian artists globally,” Comerford said. “Sid and I have been working together on various tours over the last 12 months, and it’s clear that our businesses are stronger together. This is one of those rare moments where one plus one might equal three, or even more.”
Todi said the aim was to create more than a commercial link. “Indian music has a rich heritage and an exciting future. Together with UNIFIED, we’re creating a bridge between East and West – one that empowers artists, connects fans and reshapes the musical landscape. This collaboration isn’t just about access. It’s about building trust, context and career moments that matter. By combining our local expertise with UNIFIED’s global infrastructure, we’re laying the foundation for a platform that supports the next generation of music talent. There’s no one-directional strategy here. We’re as committed to amplifying Indian voices globally as we are to helping international artists navigate India in a culturally relevant and sustainable way.”
UNIFIED is continuing its work in India through collaborations with Mantra Roots, alongside its international activities in artist management, publishing, touring and its Community Music platform.

Dear Reader,The Indian Sun exists for one reason: to tell stories that might otherwise go unheard.
We report on local councils, state politics, small businesses and cultural festivals. We focus on the Indian diaspora and the wider multicultural community with care, balance and accountability. We publish in print and online, send regular newsletters and produce video content. We also run media training programs to help community organisations share their own stories.
We operate independently.
