Paris Collab is calling on students aged 10 to 18 worldwide to submit their projects addressing pressing global issues. This initiative provides young thinkers with a platform to collaborate directly with world-renowned experts on matters such as climate change, poverty, and technological advancement.
Traditionally, young individuals have been sidelined in major decision-making processes. Paris Collab aims to change this by offering schoolchildren opportunities to present their ideas and work alongside seasoned professionals. The organisation’s mission is to transform youthful perspectives into actionable solutions through co-creation with global experts.
Central to Paris Collab’s approach are the ‘Idea Labs,’ where selected students present their solutions to global challenges. In these sessions, experts listen, advise, and collaborate in real-time, ensuring that proposed solutions are both practical and scalable. Additionally, Paris Collab organises panels and fireside chats that foster co-creation between experts and children, covering themes such as sustainability, technology, artificial intelligence, education, development, and governance.
The culmination of these efforts is showcased at the Annual Summit, a celebration featuring the most impactful ideas from the year. Activities include idea showcases, expert keynotes, co-creation marathons, and networking sessions, all designed to highlight and further develop the contributions of young thinkers.
To apply, students or schools can submit nominations through the official Paris Collab website. Projects should be beyond the idea stage, with tangible developments to demonstrate. The application deadline is 15 March 2025. Early applications are encouraged to increase the chances of selection. This initiative empowers young innovators to contribute meaningfully to pressing global issues.

Support Independent Community Journalism
Dear Reader,The Indian Sun exists for one reason: to tell stories that might otherwise go unheard.
We report on local councils, state politics, small businesses and cultural festivals. We focus on the Indian diaspora and the wider multicultural community with care, balance and accountability. We publish in print and online, send regular newsletters and produce video content. We also run media training programs to help community organisations share their own stories.
We operate independently.
Community journalism does not have the backing of large media corporations. Advertising revenue fluctuates. Platform algorithms change. Costs continue to rise. Yet the need for credible, grounded reporting in a multicultural Australia has never been greater.
When you support The Indian Sun, you support:
• Independent reporting on issues affecting migrant communities
• Coverage of local and state decisions that shape daily life
• A platform for small businesses and community groups
• Media training that builds skills within the community
• Journalism accountable to readers
We cannot cover everything, but we work to cover what matters.
If you value thoughtful reporting that reflects Australia’s diversity, we invite you to contribute. Every donation helps us maintain the quality and consistency of our work.
Please consider making a contribution today.
Thank you for your support.
