The Adelaide International 2025 is shaping up to be an unforgettable event as world-class tennis players descend on the city next January. With an impressive array of top talent confirmed to compete, fans are in for a treat when the action unfolds at The Drive from 6-11 January 2025.

Felix Auger-Aliassime, a former world No.6, has joined the line-up, alongside two of the WTA’s top 10 ranked players: Jasmine Paolini and Emma Navarro, along with world No.13 Diana Shnaider. These exciting additions bring even more star power to an already stellar roster, which includes hometown hero Thanasi Kokkinakis, world No.12 Tommy Paul, world No.23 Sebastian Korda, and top-10 stars Jessica Pegula and reigning Wimbledon champion Barbora Krejcikova.

The announcement of these high-calibre players builds anticipation for what promises to be one of the most exciting tennis tournaments of the year. Auger-Aliassime, who claimed his first ATP Tour title in 2022 at the Rotterdam Open, has made a name for himself with his consistent performances at Grand Slams, including a US Open semifinal appearance in 2021. Paolini, ranked No.4, is known for her fierce competitive spirit, while Navarro, who ranks No.8 in the world, has emerged as one of the rising stars of American tennis. With an impressive victory at the 2024 Hobart International under her belt, Navarro’s hard-hitting game will be one to watch. Meanwhile, Shnaider, currently No.13, continues to impress on the WTA circuit.

As excitement builds ahead of the event, spectators can look forward to world-class tennis action, alongside a range of off-court entertainment. Tickets for Adelaide International 2025 start at just $10, with kids receiving free entry for selected sessions. Attendees can also enjoy all-access passes to the family zone, exclusive bars, food and drinks, as well as top-tier tennis.

The 2024 Adelaide International saw record-breaking attendance, with 51,117 fans attending the event, making it the highest-attended week-long tennis event since 2020. This year, the Adelaide International is set to be a part of South Australia’s international summer of sport, following the successful VAILO Adelaide 500 and leading into the 25th anniversary of the Santos Tour Down Under.

Zoe Bettison, Minister for Tourism, expressed her excitement about the event. “The latest player announcement continues to build anticipation for the international tennis tournament as Auger-Aliassime, Jasmine Paolini, Emma Navarro, and Diana Shnaider join the already strong competition line-up,” Bettison said. “The Adelaide International is always a great start to the year, for both players and spectators, and 2025 is set to be no different thanks to the epic talent on the courts and non-stop entertainment offerings off the court. I look forward to welcoming this smashing lineup of top tennis stars to Adelaide in January, as well as the thousands of fans set to cheer them on at The Drive.”

Alicia Molik, Director of the Adelaide International Tournament, shared her enthusiasm about the calibre of players confirmed to compete. “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Felix Auger-Aliassime, former world No.6, and two of the WTA top 10 ranked players, Jasmine Paolini, Emma Navarro, as well as world No.13 Diana Shnaider, to Adelaide next year,” Molik said. “The depth of talent we have confirmed to compete so far is exceptional, and we are confident that fans will be treated to some spectacular matches. Each of these players brings something unique to the court, and we can’t wait to see them compete at The Drive.”

Debbie Sterrey, Tennis SA CEO and Adelaide International General Manager, also expressed her excitement. “The team are looking forward to welcoming tennis fans to see these incredible athletes in action,” Sterrey said. “The Adelaide International is going to be a fantastic event, and we can’t wait to see these players showcase their talent on our courts.”

Felix Auger-Aliassime, who has previously competed in Adelaide, spoke about his excitement to return in 2025. “I’ve always enjoyed my stay in Adelaide, and that’s why I’ve chosen to come back in 2025 for the third time in my career,” Auger-Aliassime said. “I think it will be a perfect preparation for me after United Cup and just before playing the Australian Open. I look forward to a great summer of tennis in front of all the Aussie fans.”

Emma Navarro, currently ranked world No.8, shared her own excitement about competing in Adelaide. “I am super excited to come play at the Adelaide International in 2025,” Navarro said. “I think it will be a great lead-up to the Australian Open, and I am looking forward to getting some good matches in and seeing some of Adelaide.”

With the full entry list set to be announced in December, Adelaide International 2025 is fast becoming one of the most anticipated events in the tennis calendar. With tickets starting at just $10 and kids going free for selected sessions, there’s something for everyone at this exciting summer event.
