Cricket enthusiasts have an exciting opportunity as tickets for the 2024-25 women’s and men’s international matches are now available. The much-anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy Series returns with its first five-Test format since the 1991-92 season, alongside the Australian Women’s Team facing England in the first day-night Test at the MCG.

Ticket prices for men’s international matches remain unchanged for the ninth consecutive year, and for women’s matches, they have been frozen for the fourth year. Fans purchasing tickets for the NRMA Insurance Men’s Border-Gavaskar Trophy Series or the CommBank Women’s Ashes Test by June 30, 2024, will enter a draw to win one of six coveted Golden Tickets. Those who bought tickets during the pre-sale from June 4-13 are automatically entered.

The Golden Ticket winners will receive a significant upgrade to their Test Match experience. This includes a pitch walk, a behind-the-scenes tour, a meet and greet with an Australian player, a ticket upgrade to corporate hospitality, and a bat signed by both teams. Fans are encouraged to buy tickets early to secure their seats for a summer filled with high-profile cricket.

The first day of the pre-sale saw record-breaking ticket sales, indicating a high level of interest in this season’s matches. Entry-level prices for men’s international games start at $30 for adults and $10 for children, while women’s international games start at $20 for adults and $5 for children.

The international cricket season kicks off in September with the Australian Women’s Team playing New Zealand in three T20Is in Queensland, followed by three ODIs against India in December. The Australian Men’s Team will start with a Dettol white-ball series against Pakistan, leading up to the NRMA Insurance Border-Gavaskar Trophy Series against India.

The CommBank Women’s Ashes will cap off the 2024-25 international summer, culminating in the historic Day-Night Test Match at the MCG. Tickets are available for purchase at cricket.com.au/tickets.

Cricket Australia CEO, Nick Hockley, expressed his excitement: “This will be a blockbuster summer, with the eyes of the cricketing world focused on the intense rivalries of the NRMA Insurance Border-Gavaskar Trophy and the CommBank Women’s Ashes. Tens of thousands of tickets have already been sold during the pre-sale period and I encourage everyone to get in quick for the best tickets available and to be part of the action. Test Match ticket buyers will be eligible for our new Golden Ticket promotion, from which lucky winners will enjoy a special experience at the Border-Gavaskar Test series or the Women’s Ashes Test. Yet again there will be no increase in entry level prices, including for kids and families, so that as many fans as possible can be there to witness these historic series.”

For those keen on the complete cricketing experience, this is the perfect chance to grab tickets and perhaps even win a Golden Ticket for an unforgettable cricket adventure.
