Shakti Global, a beacon of the timeless principles of Sanatana Dharma, celebrated its inaugural launch on Sunday, 28 January, at 10 am, marking a significant milestone in the pursuit of community welfare through spirituality and integrated health. The auspicious event unfolded at the Helensvale Cultural Centre, Helensvale, ushering in a new era of holistic well-being for the local community.

With a profound commitment to the essence of Sanatana Dharma, Shakti Global endeavours to nurture unity, holistic health, and the overall welfare of the community. At its core, the organisation focuses on serving others, promoting education, advocating for Satvik food, offering spiritual care, and extending mental health support, all aligned with the guiding principles of Sanatana Dharma.

The inauguration commenced with a heartfelt prayer to Ganapathi, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by esteemed guests. The introduction to Shakti underscored the importance of mental, physical, social, and spiritual well-being, drawing parallels to the structural pillars of a building. The overarching roof symbolised resilience and wellness, with the ultimate goal of achieving life balance.

Distinguished personalities, including Cr William Owen-Jones, Division 2 Councillor, City of Gold Coast, graced the occasion, commending Shakti Global for its dedication to community welfare. Adding a cultural touch, performance by Angela & Deepu Gowda from Vinitha Rajkumar’s Rhythm Indian School of Dance captivated the audience. Swami Atmeshananda Ji from the Vedanta Centre of Sydney Brisbane Chapter delivered an enlightening speech, enriching the gathering with spiritual wisdom.

The program also featured a mesmerising dance performance by Suhani and a thought-provoking play directed by Dr Janani Thirumurugan, highlighting the relevance of ancient wisdom in modern-day struggles. Esteemed guests, including State Member for Bonney MP Sam O’Connor and Umesh Chandra Ji, shared insightful perspectives, while various workshops and educational sessions unveiled a wealth of knowledge on topics such as mental resilience, gut health, Ayurvedic Dinacharya, ADHD, women’s health, and heart health.

The event concluded with the introduction of Team Shakti; a dedicated group committed to the organisation’s mission. Magistrate Veena Goverdhan delivered closing remarks, followed by a vote of thanks by Dr Janani Thirumurugan.

In essence, Shakti Global’s inaugural launch signifies the beginning of a transformative journey, rooted in the wisdom of Sanatana Dharma, dedicated to fostering unity, holistic health, and overall well-being within the community.
