The KFC Big Bash is hitting the perfect pitch this summer with a huge music line up set to perform across games throughout the season, offering fans more entertainment than ever before.

Clubs across the League have recruited a star-studded list of festival headliners and up and coming musicians to perform across various matches for this summer’s KFC BBL|12 tournament, which kicked off 13 December and runs through to 4 February 2023.

The list of artists set to perform across the tournament includes festival headliners such as Peking Duk, The Temper Trap, Ball Park Music, Sneaky Sound System and Northeast Party House as well as some of Australia’s fastest rising musicians in Sycco, Memphis LK, KLP, Kinder and Stace Cadet. Multiple Aria award winning artist Baker Boy will also give a special performance in Melbourne as part of the First Nations Round celebrations.

Joining a spectacle of live music talent are a raft of off-field experiences set to bring Australian stadiums alive, including a brand-new canopy lighting show at Optus Stadium and a Beach Bonanza party in Tasmania.

Alistair Dobson, Cricket Australia’s General Manager Big Bash Leagues, said, “The KFC Big Bash is Australia’s best sports entertainment experience, and we are excited to offer fans even more with so many amazing artists performing. In addition to big hits, classic catches and epic battles, fans will be treated to even more this summer with live performances, fireworks, light shows and dancing, ensuring there is something for everyone.

“The KFC Big Bash League is the backdrop to summer. It’s an action-packed competition that offers non-stop excitement and entertainment, and it’s great to see it come alive in stadiums around the country.”

Now in its twelfth season, the KFC Big Bash brings together some of the world’s best T20 cricketers for a high-octane competition played across Australia. With cricket superstars including David Warner, Steve Smith, Aaron Finch, Alex Carey, Andre Russell and Shadab Khan stepping up to the crease in the KFC BBL|12, fans are in for a summer of world-class cricket and entertainment.

The 56 regular season games of the KFC BBL will be played across 14 venues throughout December and January, before the five match finals series culminated in the decider on February 4.
