Dear Readers,

We are back and welcome to our second issue of 2021.

Reflecting on the past year, we have had a challenging year like most of you. Looking ahead, the landscape for delivering content still remains vast and we are looking forward to bringing before you more stories and keep you on top of all the news.

Our cover story is in keeping the Australia Day in mind and celebrating the great multicultural ethos of this country. With more than 200 nationalities living here, the Multicultural Sports Group’s (MSG) endeavour to put cricket and culture on display makes for a good story and underpins what makes a great local life.  Fittingly, they were recognised for their efforts this Australia Day.

We thank you for making The Indian Sun, one of the most widely read news sites, and also engaging us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Embracing digital technologies have allowed us to gauge the content you enjoy!

The Indian Sun is  committed to being a trusted online hub where you can also share your stories. These stories, as you know, reach you via our social media platforms and various newsletters.

Dear Reader,

The Indian Sun is an independent organisation committed to community journalism. We have, through the years, been able to reach a wide audience especially with the growth of social media, where we also have a strong presence. With platforms such as YouTube videos, we have been able to engage in different forms of storytelling. However, the past few years, like many media organisations around the world, it has not been an easy path. We have a greater challenge. We believe community journalism is very important for a multicultural country like Australia. We’re not able to do everything, but we aim for some of the most interesting stories and journalism of quality. We call upon readers like you to support us and make any contribution. Do make a DONATION NOW so we can continue with the volume and quality journalism that we are able to practice.

Thank you for your support.

Best wishes,
Team The Indian Sun
