The Hashtag Without Limits team hosted their second employment workshop for migrants at Seven Hills Community Centre recently. With great speakers on-board and local recruiters, around 100 jobs seekers attended this event. The team aimed to provide elevated value to enrich the job readiness skills of the audience.

The workshop was designed to explore confidence, assertiveness and negotiation with the focus on employability. We would love everyone in the community to support events like this so that it can reach and help more people,” say Nim Gholkar (Success Coach) And Aashish Gholkar (GAEA Academy). Other experts at the event included Madhu Chaudhuri And Team (Finance and Mortgage); Adactin (Sapna And Team); Volunteer Dr Chandrika Subramanian; Katz recruitment (Michelle Walker); How to job search (Jane Tweedy); Excited for Monday’s Pamela Ledley on Resume writing and covering letter; Get Australia Visa (Rajesh Kumar); Day care jobs (Lakshmi Naidu); Business opportunity (Shirin Lakhani); PIA (Vikas Shimar); Motivational speakers (Arpitha Gangadhikar and Shirin Lakhani); and Tavvara (Prakash).

Dear Reader,

The Indian Sun is an independent organisation committed to community journalism. We have, through the years, been able to reach a wide audience especially with the growth of social media, where we also have a strong presence. With platforms such as YouTube videos, we have been able to engage in different forms of storytelling. However, the past few years, like many media organisations around the world, it has not been an easy path. We have a greater challenge. We believe community journalism is very important for a multicultural country like Australia. We’re not able to do everything, but we aim for some of the most interesting stories and journalism of quality. We call upon readers like you to support us and make any contribution. Do make a DONATION NOW so we can continue with the volume and quality journalism that we are able to practice.

Thank you for your support.

Best wishes,
Team The Indian Sun
