British actor-rapper Idris Elba says he is “glad” people think he has a shot at acting as the next fictional spy James Bond.
According to the Daily Beast, Sony Pictures Entertainment co-chairman Amy Pascal allegedly wrote an email to the distributor of the 007 franchise, suggesting “Idris should be the next bond”.
“Isn’t 007 supposed to be handsome? Glad you think I’ve got a shot! Happy New year people,” Elba tweeted, reports eonline.com.
