TDP Australia celebrates AP poll victory

Telugu Desam Australia recently celebrated Telugu Desam Party’s victory in recent elections in Andhra Pradhesh and NTR’s 91 st Birthday at Sydney Bahai Centre auditorium. More than 1000 Telugu people from all over Australia attended the event. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party President Sri Nara Chandra Babu naidu garu and TDP MLAs  Sri Arimilli, Radha Krishna garu (Tanuku), Sri Devineni, Uma Maheswara rao garu (Mylavaram), Sri Dhulipala Narendra (Ponnuru) conveyed their wishes to Telugu Desam Australia team via video messages.

Telugu Desam Australia felicitated Mr. Varigonda Subba rao garu and Mr. Kuchi Sreenivasa Rao garu with the NTR Award for 2014 for their exemplary service to Telugu  culture and community in the last two decades. Mr.Sreenivasa Rao Kuchi appreciated efforts taken by Telugu Desam Australia team in the last two years in bringing awareness of good governance by TDP and encouraging youth voter registrations in AP.

Chanti, Sudhakar and Srinu from Jabardast team (Etv) performed comedy skits. Cultural programs were performed by kids, Vidwan Diwakar garu, Sirisha Inteti garu, Preetam and Meghana Kuchi.

Telugu Desam Australia President Syam Koduri appreciated the efforts of committee members and volunteers in making this event a grand success. Secretary Mrs. Hima Bindu Muthavarapu gave the vote of thanks.
