After last year’s success, ‘The Indian Chemicals& Cosmetics Exhibition’ returns to Sydney, and this time it’s even bigger. Scheduled for 24 and 25 September, at Hilton, Sydney, the exhibition is hosted by CHEMEXCIL, an Export Promotion Council (set up by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India) and will see a two-day buyer-seller meet.

Vaishali Zinzuwadia, Regional Director of CHEMEXCIL, is certain that this event will foster further relations between India and Australia’s chemical industry. She says, “This exhibition represents both buying and selling opportunities for Australian companies which in turn will yield manifold results. On this platform buyers and sellers would come together to discuss forming partnerships and further business opportunities,” she says.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the chemical industry in Australia to have face-to-face interactions with manufacturers and producers who will be bringing with them a range of organic and inorganic chemicals, agrochemicals, dyes, essential oils, soaps, cosmetics, and various other intermediary chemicals applicable for a number Australian Industries.

SG Bharadi, Acting Executive Director, CHEMEXCIL, threw light on how this buyer-seller meet is an opportunity not to be missed. “This exhibition would be a one point source of information on what, where and from whom to buy from an Indian Market. The main objective of organizing this exhibition is to showcase India’s capabilities as a supplier of steady competitive and sustainable international quality products,” says Bharadi.

India is known for pioneering various chemical processes and discovered Alchemy independently millennia ago. Today, India’s modern chemical advancement and economies of scale make it the sought-after destination for sourcing and trade. This exhibition offers strategic opportunities to develop mutually beneficial business relations.

In addition to this, all attending organizations will have the opportunity to enter a draw where five lucky representatives will be flown to India as guests of the Government of India to attend the ASEAN Trade Fair in October 2013.

Organizations interested in learning about the opportunities available within the Indian chemical market, as well as those keen to showcase Australian products, should contact Mansi Saxena at mansi@multicall.com.au.
CHEMEXCIL 2013 will be held 24 and 25 September, between 9AM and 5PM at Hilton Sydney, 488 George Street.

Support Independent Community Journalism

Dear Reader,

The Indian Sun exists for one reason: to tell stories that might otherwise go unheard.
We report on local councils, state politics, small businesses and cultural festivals. We focus on the Indian diaspora and the wider multicultural community with care, balance and accountability. We publish in print and online, send regular newsletters and produce video content. We also run media training programs to help community organisations share their own stories.

We operate independently.

Community journalism does not have the backing of large media corporations. Advertising revenue fluctuates. Platform algorithms change. Costs continue to rise. Yet the need for credible, grounded reporting in a multicultural Australia has never been greater.

When you support The Indian Sun, you support:
