Suvastu has announced that its next Hindu Heritage Webinar will be held in September 2026, with the date, time and speakers to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
The organisation said the upcoming session will continue discussions on Hindu heritage and identity, while inviting participants to contribute ideas on how communities can preserve, transmit and contribute to Hindu traditions for future generations.
Ahead of the event, Suvastu has encouraged viewers to watch recordings from its previous webinar featuring Harshita Reddy from Townsville and Shuchita Pota from Canberra. Their presentations focused on living Hindu Dharma in Australia and the experience of practising Hindu traditions within Australia’s multicultural society. Harshita Reddy spoke about growing up in India before moving to Australia as a child, and how that transition made staying connected to Hindu traditions a more conscious effort. She argued that preserving Hindu heritage requires communities to pass on understanding and meaning, rather than simply maintaining rituals and customs. She also spoke about the role of families, community organisations and youth programs in helping younger generations engage with their heritage.
The September webinar is expected to include an interactive component, with attendees invited to share practical and community-focused ideas that could strengthen the initiative’s three stated pillars: preserve, transmit and contribute.
Suvastu said it is seeking suggestions that can help sustain and enrich Hindu heritage over the long term, with a focus on community participation, education and intergenerational engagement. Organisers said the aim is to encourage constructive discussion about how Hindu heritage can remain meaningful for future generations in Australia.
