Meriton has continued its strong run of industry recognition, with the property developer and hotel group receiving a series of awards celebrating its residential developments, accommodation services and the teams behind its projects.
The latest honours include wins across the Australian Institute of Building (AIB) NSW Professional Excellence Awards 2026, as well as the Australian Hotels Association (AHA) Awards for Excellence in New South Wales and Queensland.
Meriton Founder and Managing Director Harry Triguboff said the recognition reflected the work of the company’s teams across both construction and hospitality operations.
At the AIB NSW Professional Excellence Awards 2026, Meriton developments received awards across several residential categories. Trilogy at Macquarie Park and Manet at Eastgardens were recognised in the Residential Construction category for projects valued above $60 million, while Rivera, The Signature Collection at Eastgardens received recognition in the $25 million to $60 million category.
The awards added to Meriton’s recent list of achievements, following recognition in 2025 across residential, mixed-use and hospitality projects. These included awards for developments such as Uccello at Eastgardens, Miro at Eastgardens, Atrium at Lidcombe, Meriton Suites Parramatta, The Retreat masterplan at Lidcombe and 180 George at Parramatta.
Meriton Suites also received recognition at the recent AHA NSW Awards for Excellence, with Meriton Suites Sussex Street, Sydney named winner of the Best Apartment Style Accommodation Award.
The award acknowledged the hotel team’s focus on guest experience and service delivery. Triguboff congratulated Hotel Manager Juliet Yaakoup and Front Office Manager Dylan Lovatt for their leadership and contribution to the property’s performance.
“I would like to congratulate Juliet Yaakoup and Dylan Lovatt, for their exceptional commitment and leadership to our hotel,” Mr Triguboff said.
He said the recognition reflected the teamwork across the business and the culture developed within the company.
Meriton Suites Surfers Paradise also received recognition at the AHA Queensland Awards for Excellence, taking out the Best Suite/Apartment Hotel award.
Alongside the property awards, Stanley Wang was Highly Commended in the Rooms Division Talent of the Year category, highlighting individual achievements within Meriton’s hospitality teams.
Founded by Harry Triguboff, Meriton has developed residential and hospitality properties across Australia for more than six decades. The company operates apartment-style accommodation under the Meriton Suites brand while continuing to deliver residential projects across New South Wales and Queensland.
The latest awards highlight the contribution of both the company’s developments and the people involved in delivering its residential and hospitality services.
