LIV Golf Adelaide 2025 is shaping up to be the largest edition yet, with ticket sales already surpassing 90,000 and expectations soaring beyond 100,000 attendees. The Grange Golf Club is set to host the world’s best golfers this weekend in an event that has twice been crowned the World’s Best Golf Event.

The star-studded lineup includes Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson and Australia’s own Cam Smith, all competing for a prize pool worth $39.7 million AUD. The course will be alive with electric energy as Ripper GC attempts to defend their 2024 victory on home soil.

This year’s event brings a host of upgrades, ensuring an experience that goes beyond just the action on the fairways. Concerts featuring DOM DOLLA, The Jungle Giants and Fisher will amplify the atmosphere, with a larger stage area catering to the growing crowds. Viewing opportunities have expanded with additional grandstands, 1,200 extra seats, and larger LED screens to enhance the spectacle.

For families, the new Family Fairway on the 6th hole promises entertainment for all ages, featuring a kids’ DJ, food trucks, mini golf, and even a petting zoo run by RangeGoats GC. The Oasis Fan Village, a fresh addition, will host up to 2,500 guests, and new hospitality facilities like Ripper Point on the 14th tee will elevate the premium experience.

Beyond the greens, the tournament continues to be a major economic driver for South Australia. The 2024 edition injected $71.1 million into the state’s economy, marking a 10% increase from the inaugural year. Visitors contributed over 79,000 guest nights, staying an average of nearly four nights, with more than 40% of ticket holders travelling from outside the state.

Premier Peter Malinauskas is embracing the global attention the tournament brings, highlighting its growing stature: “LIV Golf Adelaide will light up South Australia’s summer, as the world’s best male golfers, their teams, and spectators from across the globe descend on our State this week.”

The event’s broadcast reach extends to over 500 million viewers across 80 territories, ensuring that South Australia remains in the global sporting spotlight. With bigger crowds, expanded facilities, and more entertainment than ever, 2025 is set to reinforce LIV Golf Adelaide’s place as a must-see event on the sporting calendar.

Support Independent Community Journalism

Dear Reader,

The Indian Sun exists for one reason: to tell stories that might otherwise go unheard.
We report on local councils, state politics, small businesses and cultural festivals. We focus on the Indian diaspora and the wider multicultural community with care, balance and accountability. We publish in print and online, send regular newsletters and produce video content. We also run media training programs to help community organisations share their own stories.

We operate independently.

Community journalism does not have the backing of large media corporations. Advertising revenue fluctuates. Platform algorithms change. Costs continue to rise. Yet the need for credible, grounded reporting in a multicultural Australia has never been greater.

When you support The Indian Sun, you support:

• Independent reporting on issues affecting migrant communities
• Coverage of local and state decisions that shape daily life
• A platform for small businesses and community groups
• Media training that builds skills within the community
• Journalism accountable to readers

We cannot cover everything, but we work to cover what matters.

If you value thoughtful reporting that reflects Australia’s diversity, we invite you to contribute. Every donation helps us maintain the quality and consistency of our work.

Please consider making a contribution today.

Thank you for your support.
