The cricket fever is still running hot. On the back of winning the recent T20 World Cup, England will be in action against Australia for the three one-day internationals, which would be a warm up practice for the next year’s 50-over World Cup in India where they will look to defend the title that they won in 2019.

The three scheduled matches are:

The series will be broadcast exclusively in Australia on Fox Sports and Kayo subscription services. Kayo is offering a free trial for new subscribers. Fans will also be able to listen to all the action via SEN, ABC and Triple M, including audio streams from all radio broadcasters available on the CA Live app. The CA Live app is another source of information. You can also catch up on all the latest news via The Unplayable Podcast. Listen and subscribe to the show on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or Google Podcasts and anywhere else you get your pods.

The line-up for the teams:

Australia: Pat Cummins (c), Sean Abbott, Ashton Agar, Alex Carey, Cameron Green, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Marnus Labuschagne, Mitchell Marsh, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, Marcus Stoinis, David Warner, Adam Zampa.

England: Jos Buttler (c), Moeen Ali, Sam Billings, Sam Curran, Liam Dawson, Chris Jordan, Dawid Malan, Adil Rashid, Jason Roy, Phil Salt, Olly Stone, James Vince, David Willey, Chris Woakes, Luke Wood.

Pat Cummins will be the new Australia captain taking over from Aaron Finch. Glenn Maxwell will miss the series after breaking his left leg during a freak accident at a friend’s birthday party. Marcus Stoinis and Cameron Green will represent the middle order, while Travis Head may start as opener.

England will call on the services of Jason Roy, James Vince and Sam Billings, Olly Stone to make their mark in this series.

As per BOM, the weather predictions for Sydney on 19th Nov is 20% chance of rain and for Melbourne on 22nd Nov is 60% chance of 0 to 2 mm rain.

In the face of T20 popularity, the crowd numbers for ODI matches are steadily dwindling. Hoping the hangover from the recently concluded T20 tournament does not add to it.

Dear Reader,

The Indian Sun is an independent organisation committed to community journalism. We have, through the years, been able to reach a wide audience especially with the growth of social media, where we also have a strong presence. With platforms such as YouTube videos, we have been able to engage in different forms of storytelling. However, the past few years, like many media organisations around the world, it has not been an easy path. We have a greater challenge. We believe community journalism is very important for a multicultural country like Australia. We’re not able to do everything, but we aim for some of the most interesting stories and journalism of quality. We call upon readers like you to support us and make any contribution. Do make a DONATION NOW so we can continue with the volume and quality journalism that we are able to practice.

Thank you for your support.

Best wishes,
