The tourist attraction will re-open in time for the school holidays
With the easing of Government restrictions in regional Victoria Kryal Castle re-opened the park to regional visitors on Saturday, 19 September.
At Kryal Castle the safety and wellbeing of guests and team members is utmost priority, noting crowd numbers and hygiene best practice. There will be some changes to operation to ensure everyone’s safety. The outdoor castle for instance allows visitors to practice social distancing while enjoying an entertaining day with friends and family. Outdoor activities will include archery, axe throwing, knights school and everyone’s favourite, the jousting and arena shows plus street theatre.
Due to restrictions with indoor attractions these areas of the park will not be able to open Wizards Tower, Knights Tower, Torture Museum.
General Manager Melissa Dimond said she was tremendously excited to welcome visitors back to Kryal Castle. “We’re thrilled to be able to open for our regional visitors in time for the school holidays, it’s a great boost for our hardworking team and for the Moorabool and Ballarat region. Our team have been working hard to ensure our program meets all the requirements of the restrictions while still providing an entertaining day out for all.”
Kryal Castle is a perfect base to enjoy all Ballarat and the Moorabool region has on offer.
Hours of operation for the school holidays will be 10-4pm Friday to Mondays for the Victorian school holidays; and closed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Accommodation will be open 7 nights per week. General admission tickets must be pre-purchased on-line at www.kryalcastle.com.au to ensure numbers are not exceeded and to ensure all contact tracing requirements are met. It will be open every weekend from 10 October.
