Spring school holidays are just around the corner and your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to head into Werribee City Centre for a jam-packed program of fun!

Wyndham City’s Arts, Culture and Heritage portfolio holder, Cr Tony Hooper, said the school holiday program marked one of the biggest yet for the city, with a series of shows, workshops and events running across the two weeks.

“As part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival, Circus Trick Tease will bring their award-winning comedy circus show, Children Are Stinky to Kelly Park Centre, along with a circus skills workshop for budding acrobats,” Cr Hooper said.

“Wyndham Cultural Centre will be the place for puppetry fun, as Bunk Puppets transform household junk into flying chickens, brain transplants and sneaky ninjas in the wonderful, Sticks Stones Broken Bones.”

Kids will also have an opportunity to make their very own puppet and learn how to bring it to life with a DIY puppet workshop. There will also be a free Superhero Hunt through the heart of Werribee City Centre, with craft workshops, face painting and prizes for best dressed.

Dear Reader,

The Indian Sun is an independent organisation committed to community journalism. We have, through the years, been able to reach a wide audience especially with the growth of social media, where we also have a strong presence. With platforms such as YouTube videos, we have been able to engage in different forms of storytelling. However, the past few years, like many media organisations around the world, it has not been an easy path. We have a greater challenge. We believe community journalism is very important for a multicultural country like Australia. We’re not able to do everything, but we aim for some of the most interesting stories and journalism of quality. We call upon readers like you to support us and make any contribution. Do make a DONATION NOW so we can continue with the volume and quality journalism that we are able to practice.

Thank you for your support.

Best wishes,
Team The Indian Sun
