One of the world’s top supermodels has arrived in Australia ahead of the launch of a highly-anticipated new Sydney destination.
Winner of Next Face of Asia 2012, Indonesian-Dutch Supermodel Paula Verhoeven arrived in Sydney in May for a video shoot centred around Australian property developer Crown Group’s latest Sydney resort-style development; Waterfall by Crown Group.
The four-tower project in Waterloo is set to feature 331 apartments, six retail outlets, restaurants and cafes plus luxurious residents’ amenities including a pool, gym, function room, music rooms, communal landscaped area, barbecue facilities and roof-top cinema.
Star of the Waterfall by Crown Group marketing campaign launching, Paula took part in video and photography shoots in key locations in Sydney.
Crown Group Project Director Sales and Global Capital Prisca Edwards said it was exciting to have Paula involved in the launch of Waterfall by Crown Group.
The first female Indonesian model to gain international fame, Paula has appeared on the cover of leading fashion and lifestyle magazines and cat-walked for top fashion labels in Milan and around the world.
Paula recently starred in the 2014 blockbuster; Supernova: The Knight, the Princess & Shooting Star.
“We’re very pleased to have Paula Verhoeven in Sydney as we begin campaign production for Waterfall by Crown Group,” Mrs Edwards said.
“Paula’s energetic, vibrant, professional demeanour and values embody the Crown Group brand. Crown Group is well- known for its modern, innovative approach to property development in Australia,” she added.

Waterfall by Crown Group, said Mrs Edwards, is set to be an escape, a sanctuary, back to the nature environment with convenience of a city living at doorstep.
The multi-million development will be officially unveiled at a VIP event in October, Mrs Edwards said.
“We’ve received a significant number of enquiries, even prior to the unveiling event,” she added.
Born in Semarang with a Dutch-Tionghoa father and a Javanese mother, Paula speaks Bahasa, Javanese and English and is known as Indonesia’s tallest model.
The 183cm-tall supermodel first gained international fame as winner of Indonesia Elite Model Look 2003.
Paula said she was thrilled to be involved with the launch of one of Sydney’s most exciting new destinations.
“I’m honoured to be a part of the Waterfall by Crown Group campaign and I’m excited to work with Crown Group as the brand gains momentum internationally,” Paula said.
“Crown Group has won a number of awards for their well-designed apartments and five-star resort facilities in Australia and its projects are built to the highest standards,” she said.
Crown Group has established a reputation for architecturally unique, resort-style residential development and has been recognised with a number of top industry awards including the UDIA NSW President’s award, Master Builders Association Excellence in Construction award, UDIA National High Density Development award and UDIA NSW award for Concept Design.
