Saravanaa Bhavan Australia, a well-known Indian restaurant chain, made a significant stride in expanding its services by launching its first-ever mobile food dispensing van.

The momentous event took place at 1924 Princes Hwy in Clayton, Victoria, and was inaugurated by the Consul General of India in Melbourne, Dr Sushil Kumar and Saravanaa Bhavan Director, Shekar Mani.

The newly introduced mobile unit promises to offer delectable Indian cuisine to food enthusiasts, operating between Thursday to Sunday from 5pm to 11pm every week.

The launch event witnessed a remarkable success, with a surge of young people eagerly lining up to place their orders and savour the flavoursome dishes served from the van.

This venture marks just the beginning of a series of food trucks that Saravanaa Bhavan plans to introduce across New South Wales, Victoria, and Queensland in the near future.

Shekar Mani, the Director of Saravanaa Bhavan, also shared exciting news of their upcoming expansions. The group has plans to open a branch in Brisbane by July 2023, followed by Singapore and Dublin, Ireland in late 2023.

Kumar, who officially inaugurated the Saravanaa Bhavan Food Truck at the Clayton location, said. “I personally am fond of Saravanaa food and wish the new venture all success.”

The occasion was also graced by the presence of esteemed individuals, friends and well wishers.

This launch not only marks a significant milestone for Saravanaa Bhavan Australia but also showcases their commitment to bringing authentic Indian cuisine closer to a wider audience through their mobile food dispensing van.
