RACV is holding two information sessions for multiple employment opportunities at RACV Torquay Resort.

There are a variety of positions being recruited such as food and beverage attendants, cooks, chefs, housekeepers, team leaders and managers.

A Recruitment Information Day on Monday 25 of July will be held at the resort, with the first session held at 10am, and another at 1pm. There will be a raffle of prizes for those who attend including an overnight stay at the resort.

RACV Torquay Resort Manager Dean Newell said the positions are open to all to apply and give the opportunity to work at one of Australia’s most luxurious and attractive locations.

“All the roles will be playing a large part in providing RACV’s exceptional customer service experience to guests.

“Working with RACV is a rewarding and fulfilling experience, with many of our employees moving into other great careers in the organisation over time.

“I’m pleased that we’re able to offer these opportunities. Our goal is to continue to grow our team in Torquay and deliver for the local community, and visitors to our region alike,” Mr Newell said.

There are a range of flexible working capacities available, from casual positions, permanent part-time and full-time opportunities.

RACV will provide comprehensive training to prepare new staff members with all the tools for a rewarding career.

One of Torquay Resort’s Food and Beverage Attendants, Claudia Masek, said she has loved her time in her role, noting the supportive work environment. “The support and training I have received from my managers and fellow team members has been fantastic.

“RACV has provided locals in the area with job opportunities and a rewarding work environment. If you’re thinking about applying, go for it,” Ms. Masek said.

RACV employees enjoy ongoing training and career development, discounts on RACV Resorts and accommodation, and access to Health & Wellness programs.

Dear Reader,

The Indian Sun is an independent organisation committed to community journalism. We have, through the years, been able to reach a wide audience especially with the growth of social media, where we also have a strong presence. With platforms such as YouTube videos, we have been able to engage in different forms of storytelling. However, the past few years, like many media organisations around the world, it has not been an easy path. We have a greater challenge. We believe community journalism is very important for a multicultural country like Australia. We’re not able to do everything, but we aim for some of the most interesting stories and journalism of quality. We call upon readers like you to support us and make any contribution. Do make a DONATION NOW so we can continue with the volume and quality journalism that we are able to practice.
