The report had pointed out potential security vulnerabilities in the SHAREit app earlier. SHAREit became aware of it and responded promptly to investigate the report. After that, SHAREit released a patch to address the alleged vulnerabilities.
The company is pleased to share that after conducting relevant checks, the Trend Micro research team has acknowledged and confirmed the safety of the SHAREit app in their blog and advised users to download the latest version of the app available in the Google Play Store.
