See one of the biggest lights displays in Victoria at Adventure Park’s Festival of Lights, with extra nights running in January.

The Festival was one of the biggest Christmas lights displays in Victoria with sold out nights throughout December, and due to the popularity of this event more nights have been added to see the lights Friday and Saturday nights in January.

This year Adventure Park has brought more dazzling light installations to an already spectacular display celebrating the magic of Christmas and fairy tales.

See your children’s eyes light up at the sight of 2 million lights over a 1.5km walking trail and capture it all on camera in some of the best immersive photo opportunities ever!

New installations include more immersive and 3D light displays such as the majestic sparkle archway, giant walk-through present, Santa selfie and a massive shooting star, all offering perfect moments of delight to capture with the camera.

There’s an epic new winter wonderland with penguins, polar bears and snowmen; there’s the steam train; a magic garden with stunning fields of flowers surrounding a magical unicorn; a candy land where gingerbread houses and lollies come to life; monkeys, emojis, shooting stars and more!

There’s a new chill out zone where you can kick back on bean bags under a scene of floating, glittering umbrellas and enjoy some snacks and music.

Lots of food and drinks are available to purchase in the park aswell.

The water rides don’t run during the Festival of Lights due to safety at night but six of their classic dry rides do.  Kids will love riding the crazy roller coaster, the Red Baron plane ride, the Carousel, Little Buggy Speedway cars, the Wave Swinger and then see the lights from above on the Ferris Wheel.

Don’t miss a moment of the magic!

It’s the perfect family outing suitable for all ages and abilities, and just over an hour’s drive from Melbourne.

See it at Adventure Park Geelong

We believe community journalism is very important for a multicultural country like Australia. We’re not able to do everything, but we aim for some of the most interesting stories and journalism of quality. We call upon readers like you to support us and make any contribution.
