From this perspective, the Spanish Flu was the ultimate factor advancing mankind towards modern civilization.
Would coronavirus cause more impacts than Spanish Flu or even Black Death? As history has taught us, the effects of these global phenomena can occur years or even decades and centuries afterwards. Given the finite human life spend, one could never phantom the after effect of any global pandemic. However, we have already witnessed how coronavirus has altered behavior patterns, by switching social interaction from offline to online. And this O2O transition will only accelerate going forward. We can call it “the new internet revolution”. As countries around the world are relaxing their financial policies, it will bring about global asset appreciation and new investment opportunities. Geopolitics will have contracted significantly and lead to more regionally-based operations for multinational companies. To summarize, each of these historical pandemics will firstly always resulted in global regionalization. It is challenging to all global enterprises, including the Bellagraph Nova Group, to responded to such challenge, we are establishing more local presences by setting up more regional offices in respective target markets. The recent merger of the Bellagraph Group, who has a strong presence in North America, Europe and Africa, has allowed this new conglomerate to already enjoy improved operational efficiency throughout its expansive network around the world. Secondly, these global events have corresponded to more emphasis on humanity and human rights in addition to a technological advancement. Europe is the frontier of such advancement and human right movements, hence the BN Group has chosen Paris as its new headquarters. Further to our office in Switzerland and appointment of European CEO, our decision to move global headquarters to Paris is inevitable as it’s to follow the path of history, as well as it’s to strategize for future.
To what extent has the pandemic affected the original launch plan (in terms of timing and investment loss)? What has been done to make up for it?
The Group’s co-founder Mr. Nelson Loh: We strongly believe, that this pandemic is just likely any other crisis, it would only impact businesses that are weak, that are problematic, that are inflexible. And for us, the BN Group, it is not a challenge, but our opportunities. When the pandemic started, as countries around the world began to close their borders and limit travels, we quickly realized that major countries in Europe and America would restore their positioning as regional center, and it would be essential to set up a local headquarter in each respective region. Therefore, we accelerated the merger of the Bellagraph Nova Group and immediately decided to move our new headquarters to Paris, as it’s the center of Europe. This has allowed us to seize opportunities in expansion and to further our investments in the monetary policy easing environment.
Ms. Evangeline Shen, Mr. Nelson Loh and Mr. Terence Loh. The successful trio have been actively engaged in merger talks for the last 18 months in the midst of an unprecedented global pandemic crisis. Can you elaborate on this? How was this achieved during the pandemic?
The Group’s co-founder Mr. Terence Loh: The past eighteen months have posed many challenges, it wasn’t only about the pandemic, it was also about the ongoing trade situation between China and the United States, and it was about the overall decline of global economy. These challenges are unprecedented to those entrepreneurs and politicians who are weak, who are narrow minded and who have limited visions. But putting in the length of history, it’s not only Not unprecedented, that in fact it’s nothing comparing to what happened during 1914 to 1945. There was the World War I , and then followed by 10 year grand depression, and then soon afterwards it was the World War II. Such economy was much worse than now, but it was during such crisis, when the United States become the world’s most powerful country, and its economy kept growing until today. What other new projects are in the pipeline?
