Morning Melodies is returning to the stage at Wyndham City’s Encore Events Centre and will be streaming straight to your living rooms

Wyndham City is delighted to bring the popular event back in an online forum and there is an exciting line-up for the coming months.

Arts and Heritage portfolio holder Cr Tony Hooper said Morning Melodies were events with a loyal following that brought the community together once a month—and this online performance will help keep the community connected to the arts and one another.

“While you may not be able to attend the event in person, you can watch the show with a friend or the family and enjoy a morning tea together while watching this talented performer online,” Cr Hooper said.

The first of this online series will be The Buble and Crooners Show broadcast live from Encore Events Centre on Tuesday, 14 July, at 11am

“Even though restrictions have eased somewhat, we are aware that groups of people who are more vulnerable to the virus need more online entertainment while they stay safe at home. Council has been in touch with aged care homes to see how they can help share these live performances to residents and recreate the magic of Morning Melodies in a home setting,” Cr Hooper said.

“The first of this online series will be The Buble and Crooners Show broadcast live from Encore Events Centre on Tuesday, 14 July, at 11am.”

The show celebrates the songs and music of Michael Bublé with some of the most memorable songs written, made famous by the world’s greatest crooners. The show features songs that Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Bobby Darin sang back in their day.

“In August, we bring you The Beatles, September will feature Elvis and in October you are in for a treat with an Abba duo singing the bands top hits,” Cr Hooper said.

These free events will be livestreamed on Facebook. Tune in Tuesday 14th July at 11am for The Buble and Crooners Show

Dear Reader,

The Indian Sun is an independent organisation committed to community journalism. We have, through the years, been able to reach a wide audience especially with the growth of social media, where we also have a strong presence. With platforms such as YouTube videos, we have been able to engage in different forms of storytelling. However, the past few years, like many media organisations around the world, it has not been an easy path. We have a greater challenge. We believe community journalism is very important for a multicultural country like Australia. We’re not able to do everything, but we aim for some of the most interesting stories and journalism of quality. We call upon readers like you to support us and make any contribution. Do make a DONATION NOW so we can continue with the volume and quality journalism that we are able to practice.

Thank you for your support.

Best wishes,
Team The Indian Sun
