Labor will commit to two federal grants declared for Gurdwara Siri Guru Nanak Darbar: Simon Curtis

Labor candidate for LaTrobe Simon Curtis attended the special diwan organised at Gurdwara Siri Guru Nanak Darbar in Officer to celebrate Mother’s Day. He congratulated the mothers and reiterated that the recent announcements related to the parental visa and it’s processing made by Labor party reflects commitments to family cultures and unions.

Mr Curtis also announced that Labor will commit to the two federal grants declared for Gurdwara Siri Guru Nanak Darbar. These grants of 340,000 AUD and 195,000 AUD shall be utilised for a lot of community focused projects including kids language school, kids play area, organic farming, rainwater harvesting, kitchen, multipurpose room and dinning area, social cohesion activities etc. He also applauded the efforts and contributions to the local community made by the Officer temple.
