Barry Michael, who heads BMPG—Barry Michael Property Group, has taken a few blows in his life, he’s had to get his footwork right and been on the ropes at times, but just like the song “I get knocked…I get up again”, he didn’t stay down for long.
He’s been boxed around the ears, had a few broken noses and black eyes, but has enjoyed a successful career in boxing (1985 World Champion) and promoting the sport nationally and internationally—he still attends regular events as a much sought circuit speaker and has a long list of other business achievements to his credit.
It’s hard to keep him from digressing and speaking “boxing speak”, but Barry, like the rest of his team is a people person, easy to engage with and a great networker. These days he heads to the office instead of the gym and we’ve finally got him to remove his boxing gloves whilst at the Collins St Melbourne office.
All jokes aside—BMPG is a little different from the usual property groups—it’s unique because it has Barry at the realm.
His team, a tight group, works with other professionals ensuring each deal has the highest chance of being signed off on.
