Grampians Wine Tours

Winter time is a fabulous time to visit the Grampians National Park as there are not as many people. The spectacular weather patterns create magical viewing from Reeds Lookout, Boroka Lookout or even from the top of the Pinnacle walk. It’s a perfect time to make the trek (by car) to the 1,167m summit and enjoy 360 degrees viewing. This time of year there can be snow on the top of Mount William—it’s great to see from the ground but amazing to see from a helicopter. Grampians Helicopters can take you for a spin over the National Park and until the end of winter when two adults book a flight, then the third seat is free for children under 12 years.

Warm up with Wine

Just 2.5hrs from Melbourne you can enjoy, a weekend escape with great food and wine that is produced in the region. Did you know in Great Western (as you drive to the Grampians) you can stop and explore Australia’s largest underground cellar, known as the Seppelt Wine Drives—just $15pp for a 1 hour tour that will provide you with history and sights that you would not expect, and you have to visit yourself to see. Plus taste their wine and beer—that’s right, Seppelt Beer. To visit this winery and more, you can book Grampians Helicopters from $234pp (min 2) or book a Grampians Wine Tours which can take up to 11 people around all the vineyards to taste and enjoy in half or full day starting at $85pp.
