Diljit Dosanjh is set to make history this year as the first Indian artist to headline stadium shows in Australia. The Punjabi superstar will bring his Aura 2025 tour to Sydney’s CommBank Stadium on 26 October and Melbourne’s AAMI Park on 1 November, with additional stops in Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth before heading to Auckland.
After selling more than 50,000 tickets across the country during his Born to Shine tour in 2023, Dosanjh is expanding his reach. This will be his debut in Adelaide and Perth, while his return to Brisbane comes by popular demand. “The energy that fans in Australia and New Zealand brought to my last tour was unforgettable,” Dosanjh said. “My fans’ immense love is the reason I’m coming back with stadium shows in Sydney and Melbourne, and we’ve added Adelaide and Perth so I can celebrate with even more of them. This tour is for the fans—but it’s also about celebrating Indian music on a global stage and sharing our culture with the world”.
Known for fusing Punjabi tradition with global sounds, Dosanjh has built an international following through both music and film. His catalogue includes streaming juggernauts such as Proper Patola with over 416 million views, G.O.A.T with more than 328 million, and Do You Know with 294 million. His stage presence has seen him perform at Coachella, the Met Gala and Apple Music Studios, cementing his reputation as one of India’s most prominent global voices.
The actor-singer has also enjoyed box office success, starring in Punjabi blockbusters and in Amar Singh Chamkila, the 2024 Netflix feature that earned critical acclaim worldwide. For his fans, however, it is the live performances that resonate most strongly, with the upcoming Aura 2025 tour promising a new set list and high-production visuals designed for stadium crowds.
Tickets for Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth go on general sale on 3 September at 12:00pm local time, while tickets for Melbourne will be available the same day at 3:00pm, all through Ticketek. A pre-sale opens on 2 September for those who register early.
Dosanjh’s tour will run from 26 October to 13 November, covering six cities across Australia and New Zealand. For his growing global audience, the shows mark another milestone in a career that continues to push Indian music into the international spotlight.

Dear Reader,The Indian Sun exists for one reason: to tell stories that might otherwise go unheard.
We report on local councils, state politics, small businesses and cultural festivals. We focus on the Indian diaspora and the wider multicultural community with care, balance and accountability.
