Federation University Australia has officially opened its Melbourne City Campus, marking an expansion designed to deepen its ties with industry and international students. Federation University’s new campus aims to accommodate around 230 international students in 2025, offering programmes in Business, Engineering, Health, and Information Technology. The university’s Co-operative Education Model, set for full implementation by 2026, is expected to bolster industry engagement and hands-on learning opportunities for students.
Professor Bentley highlighted the strategic importance of the new campus location, describing it as an opportunity to enhance direct engagement with industry leaders, government, and community stakeholders.
