The "Life Mastery Foundation Discourses" event was held at 12 Yoolantie Street, Vincent

Townsville residents were treated to a weekend brimming with wisdom and inspiration, thanks to two remarkable events led by Shri M K Angajan. Organised by NQHC, these sessions provided a diverse audience with valuable insights and tools for living a balanced and success-oriented life.

From 14 to 18 October, the “Life Mastery Foundation Discourses” event was held at 12 Yoolantie Street, Vincent, offering five days of immersive learning. The event centred on achieving mental clarity and maintaining balance in daily life. Shri M K Angajan, a globally admired teacher, delivered practical teachings that left participants with renewed energy and focus. One attendee commented, “His teachings were life-changing, giving me a new perspective on handling stress and making mindful decisions.”

Saturday, 19 October, saw a shift in focus towards the younger generation with the “Youth Empowerment Workshop 2024: Be Unstoppable!” Aimed at individuals aged 13-20, the workshop, lasting from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, drew a lively crowd. Shri M K Angajan tackled topics like “Be Unstoppable,” “Program Your Mind for Success,” and “Discipline Your Way to Freedom,” encouraging young attendees to tap into their potential and align their goals with their strengths. One enthusiastic participant shared, “It was so inspiring! I feel more confident now to pursue my dreams.”

This workshop was a call to action for young people to take control of their futures and build a supportive community of achievers. The response was overwhelming, with attendees expressing their appreciation for the chance to learn from Shri M K Angajan directly.

The weekend’s events marked a triumphant moment for NQHC, as the community left with practical tools to enhance both their personal and professional lives. With such a positive response, the impact of these sessions will resonate long after the weekend. If you missed it, rest assured there will be more opportunities to engage with these empowering teachings in the future.

Support Independent Community Journalism

Dear Reader,

The Indian Sun exists for one reason: to tell stories that might otherwise go unheard.
We report on local councils, state politics, small businesses and cultural festivals. We focus on the Indian diaspora and the wider multicultural community with care, balance and accountability. We publish in print and online, send regular newsletters and produce video content. We also run media training programs to help community organisations share their own stories.

We operate independently.

Community journalism does not have the backing of large media corporations. Advertising revenue fluctuates. Platform algorithms change. Costs continue to rise. Yet the need for credible, grounded reporting in a multicultural Australia has never been greater.

When you support The Indian Sun, you support:

• Independent reporting on issues affecting migrant communities
• Coverage of local and state decisions that shape daily life
• A platform for small businesses and community groups
• Media training that builds skills within the community
• Journalism accountable to readers

We cannot cover everything, but we work to cover what matters.

If you value thoughtful reporting that reflects Australia’s diversity, we invite you to contribute. Every donation helps us maintain the quality and consistency of our work.

Please consider making a contribution today.

Thank you for your support.
