On 29 September 2024, the Shincheonji Word Crusade will be broadcast live, offering followers and curious onlookers a chance to get into what Shincheonji Church claims is the “real evidence of Revelation’s fulfilment.” The event, hosted by Chairman Lee Man Hee, will be held at the Andrew Training Centre in Busan, South Korea. This event is part of a global series by the Shincheonji Church of Jesus, which has gained momentum across continents with a growing follower base.

Chairman Lee, now over 90 years old, remains at the forefront of the movement, with his teachings focusing on the fulfilment of biblical prophecies as outlined in the Book of Revelation. According to him, the prophecies in Revelation from chapters 1 to 22 have been fulfilled, and he presents himself as the one chosen to testify about these events. He often cites Revelation 22:16, which he believes validates his mission to reveal these truths.

This year’s event in Busan is expected to draw a large online audience, much like past events where over 380,000 people tuned in from around the world.

The Crusade is not just aimed at believers but also pastors and leaders from other denominations who have expressed interest in Shincheonji’s unique interpretations of scripture. In fact, many pastors who have attended previous seminars have remarked on the depth of understanding they’ve gained, with some even signing MOUs to collaborate with the church.

The church has steadily expanded its reach, with partnerships now established with over 10,000 churches worldwide. This influence, coupled with a surge of interest from pastors and believers alike, suggests that this upcoming event may attract even more attention.

As the event draws closer, many are eagerly awaiting what new revelations will be shared, and how Lee Man Hee’s testimony will further unfold the mysteries of Revelation.

Support Independent Community Journalism

Dear Reader,

The Indian Sun exists for one reason: to tell stories that might otherwise go unheard.
We report on local councils, state politics, small businesses and cultural festivals. We focus on the Indian diaspora and the wider multicultural community with care, balance and accountability. We publish in print and online, send regular newsletters and produce video content. We also run media training programs to help community organisations share their own stories.

We operate independently.

Community journalism does not have the backing of large media corporations. Advertising revenue fluctuates. Platform algorithms change. Costs continue to rise. Yet the need for credible, grounded reporting in a multicultural Australia has never been greater.

When you support The Indian Sun, you support:

• Independent reporting on issues affecting migrant communities
• Coverage of local and state decisions that shape daily life
• A platform for small businesses and community groups
• Media training that builds skills within the community
• Journalism accountable to readers

We cannot cover everything, but we work to cover what matters.

If you value thoughtful reporting that reflects Australia’s diversity, we invite you to contribute. Every donation helps us maintain the quality and consistency of our work.

Please consider making a contribution today.

Thank you for your support.
