Moments Condoms, owned by Coral Healthcare, is partnering with Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras for the 2019 Sydney Mardi Gras Festival.

Moments Condoms’ partnership with Mardi Gras aims to further their support for the health and wellbeing of all people, following their existing partnerships with the International Aids Society (Switzerland), The McGrath Foundation (Australia) and the Desmond Tutu HIV Foundation (South Africa).

Moments Condoms aim to raise awareness though education and removing stigma around safe sex and condom purchase. Through the partnership both Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras and Moments Condoms hopes to help people to feel empowered, informed and in control of their own sexual health decisions.

“Moments Condoms is proud to support Sydney Mardi Gras and the LGBTQI community in Australia and globally. Empowering communities through education and being prepared for sex is still so important, and we want to have those conversations with during Mardi Gras 2019” — Nikhil Daftary, Managing Director—Coral Healthcare

As a part of the partnership Moments Condoms will be supplying free condom and lubricant packs at key festival events, Fair Day and Party, plus more activations to be announced in the coming weeks.

Coral Healthcare Managing Director, Nikhil Daftary, said, “Moments Condoms is proud to support Sydney Mardi Gras and the LGBTQI community in Australia and globally. Empowering communities through education and being prepared for sex is still so important, and we want to have those conversations with during Mardi Gras 2019.”

Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras CEO Terese Casu stated, “Sexual Health for the LGBTQI community is an ongoing discussion that we need to have with every generation. And in 2019 we are fearlessly having that conversation again. We’re thrilled to be partnering with Moments Condoms to promote good health and practices during our 2019 festival.”

Coral Healthcare is a private limited company, with operations based out of Kolkata (India) and Melbourne (Australia). They have been a major player in the Indian condom market since 1987, have recently entered the Australian market, and are in the process of expanding into various other countries.

We’re not able to do everything, but we aim for some of the most interesting stories and journalism of quality. We call upon readers like you to support us and make any contribution.
