Restaurateurs, influencers, creators, designers… they come from all walks of life, with one thing in common, the fact that they chose to make Australia their home. They’ve had their ups and downs, but they’ve never let a challenge overcome them.
Take the case of Amit Kumar. When his business partners left him in the lurch, he began working day and night at turning his café into a profitable venture.
Though a successful businessman today, Kapil Virmani still wakes up early every Sunday morning to clean his office and car, an act which he says is a reminder of “where he came from” and how far he has come. He arrived in Australia at age 20, with just $500 in his pocket.
