Stand-up comedian Amit Tandon will launch his Australia tour in July
It is common knowledge that, laugh and the world laughs with you. Laughter brings people closer and the peals of laughter and jocularity are music to anyone’s ears. And the person who is brave enough to laugh at his own idiosyncrasies and shortcomings, is often one of the most pleasant people to be around.
According to comedian Bill Cosby, “Through humour, you can soften some of the worst blows that life delivers. And once you find laughter, no matter how painful your situation might be, you can survive it.”
In today’s world where man is caught in the mad rush of life running from pillar to post, forgetting to relax and enjoy the niceties of life, enforced jocularity seems to have become the order of the day. It has become common practice for people to invite a stand-up comedian for an after-dinner hilarious intervention. And at the end of the evening, the guests return home with happy and positive thoughts about whole event.
Comedy, though it induces laughter, can be a serious business. Following the burgeoning trend, some impressive stand-up comedians have emerged from India too. Amit Tandon is one such stand-up comedian. He is known for his clean jokes and sense of humour which never leave his audience squirming in their seats.
Known as ‘The Married Guy’ in comedy circles, Amit Tandon is famous for the clean comedy he delivers. It is said that he is one of the best observational comics in India
