PRAKASH SRINIVASAN

ENTREPRENEUR

Prakash Srinivasan’s Australian story began in 2009 when he came to Melbourne as a tool maker.

Once he got here, he reviewed his situation and decided to switch paths. He got accredited as a migration agent by completing his Graduate Certificate in Immigration Law at Victoria University.

He then established his own business in Melbourne CBD—YML Migration Services. “It is a tough business to be in but I’ve managed to make a name for myself by providing the right kind of service.”

YML has a number of connections within the industry and across related professions that he uses to the best advantage of his clients. They continue to be helped even after they get to Australia.

He also covers a number of migration services like general skills migration, business skills migration, MRT appeals, employer sponsored visas, and student visas.

Prakash is very proud of his Indian heritage and visits India often. “I am aware that I have had many opportunities in Australia and am always looking for ways to give back to the community. I support a number of charities all over Melbourne.”

He lives in Dandenong with his wife and daughter.

Dear Reader,

The Indian Sun is an independent organisation committed to community journalism. We have, through the years, been able to reach a wide audience especially with the growth of social media, where we also have a strong presence. With platforms such as YouTube videos, we have been able to engage in different forms of storytelling. However, the past few years, like many media organisations around the world, it has not been an easy path. We have a greater challenge. We believe community journalism is very important for a multicultural country like Australia. We’re not able to do everything, but we aim for some of the most interesting stories and journalism of quality. We call upon readers like you to support us and make any contribution. Do make a DONATION NOW so we can continue with the volume and quality journalism that we are able to practice.

Thank you for your support.

Best wishes,
Team The Indian Sun
