Over 100 projects were on show from more than 12 developers
Melbourne’s largest Indian property show, held over two days in May at the exquisite Radisson on Flagstaff Gardens, exhibited exclusive deals for clients looking to invest in the swiftly progressing Indian real estate market.
Organized by Sumo Global and Dhanush along with their platinum partner Ozone group, the event which began on 28 May, showcased over 100 projects by 12 developers from Delhi NCR, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Punjab, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Goa, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala and Hyderabad. The event was attended by top-notch developers from India such as Godrej Properties, Mantri, Ajmera Realty, Amanora, World Trade Centre, Radius, Goyal and Homeland Heights.
The essence of the deals offered by the builders at the program lies in the strategic timing of the event, providing investors with a threefold advantage. The introduction of the Real Estate Regulatory Bill on 1 May this year, ensures that buyers of real estate are shielded from exploitation at the hands of sellers. Preceded by the booming Indian economy and the growing interest of foreign institutions and private equity firms to invest in the real estate arena in India, this event provided clients with a perfect blend of motivation, affordability and security.
Sumo Global and Dhanush utilized these prevailing conditions in real estate to provide varying opportunities to Melbourne’s NRIs with deals customized to individual requirements. Builders at the event, which was attended by more than 500 families, were also able to offer easy payment plans to their customers, making it easier for middle-class families to buy homes.

Support Independent Community Journalism
Dear Reader,The Indian Sun exists for one reason: to tell stories that might otherwise go unheard.
We report on local councils, state politics, small businesses and cultural festivals. We focus on the Indian diaspora and the wider multicultural community with care, balance and accountability. We publish in print and online, send regular newsletters and produce video content. We also run media training programs to help community organisations share their own stories.
We operate independently.
Community journalism does not have the backing of large media corporations. Advertising revenue fluctuates. Platform algorithms change. Costs continue to rise. Yet the need for credible, grounded reporting in a multicultural Australia has never been greater.
When you support The Indian Sun, you support:
• Independent reporting on issues affecting migrant communities
• Coverage of local and state decisions that shape daily life
• A platform for small businesses and community groups
• Media training that builds skills within the community
• Journalism accountable to readers
We cannot cover everything, but we work to cover what matters.
