Music, Colour and Dance: Saavn Special at Werribee Holi Fest

Saavn Ties Up with FOSAI’s Festival of Colours to Add More Colour to Holi at the Werribee Race Course

Saavn, India’s leading digital music streaming service, has tied up with Festivals of South Asia, Inc. to celebrate Holi with Indian Australians. For the first time ever, a major Indian music brand is celebrating a community festival in the Australian market. Festivals of South Asia is hosting its Holi Fest at the Werribee Race Course on 19 March. Last year, Holi Fest attracted over 18,000 attendees.

“We are thrilled to support this great festival, and excited to connect with Indian Australian music fans.  Australia has always been a special market for Saavn.  We have a passionate and growing user base here and want to treat everyone to a very special Holi this year,” said Sandeep Singh, EVP, Brand Solutions, Saavn. “We have created an exclusive Holi set for our Australia listeners, and this celebration is sure to offer everyone a memorable festive experience.”

FOSAI’s Holi is renowned as the largest Holi celebration in Australia. With Saavn coming onboard as a platinum sponsor, this year’s Holi will be more colourful according to FOSAI’s secretary Hari Yellina. “Saavn is an exciting brand. Our festival has got a shot in the arm with support from an Indian business. This has made the festival truly cross-border. I cannot wait for March 19th to showcase Saavn to thousands of festival attendees.”

We’re not able to do everything, but we aim for some of the most interesting stories and journalism of quality. We call upon readers like you to support us and make any contribution.
