Where fashion meets fusion

The South Asian Bridal Show teams up with Festivals of South Asia Inc (Fosai) to bring you the best of both worlds. Where fashion meets fusion.

I believe there’s more potential in delivering combined programs where local audiences can experience a taste of high-end fashion. And that is why for the very first time we are showcasing our show on a public platform.

I come from a background of fashion and architecture and have always believed in creating unique concepts. My experience ranges from fashion shows, and pageants, to corporate events. Having worked with a diverse range of events in association with many notable organisations in the past, with this show, we hope to enhance knowledge of cross cultural awareness in a multicultural city like Melbourne where people can witness and experience other cultures.

We have been successfully doing shows for the past three conservative years and they have always been the talk of the town. So this year we decided to showcase “Brides of Asia”, a concept which has always been on the back of our minds.

Now that we have teamed up with Fosai we have unleashed a great potential for growth. We will be showcasing a number of pageant title holders walking the ramp in designer outfits choreographed so beautifully that we will leave the audience craving for more. This is will be just the beginning and we will be announcing our interstate events soon.

Dear Reader,

The Indian Sun is an independent organisation committed to community journalism. We have, through the years, been able to reach a wide audience especially with the growth of social media, where we also have a strong presence. With platforms such as YouTube videos, we have been able to engage in different forms of storytelling. However, the past few years, like many media organisations around the world, it has not been an easy path. We have a greater challenge. We believe community journalism is very important for a multicultural country like Australia. We’re not able to do everything, but we aim for some of the most interesting stories and journalism of quality. We call upon readers like you to support us and make any contribution. Do make a DONATION NOW so we can continue with the volume and quality journalism that we are able to practice.

Thank you for your support.

Best wishes,
Team The Indian Sun
