Akiisha gives you a chance to turn the spotlight on the model within

It was only after she won the Ms India Melbourne and Ms Global United titles in 2014 and managed to organize a successful beauty pageant in 2015 that Shagoon Bhasin Vaid realized the passion she has for styling people, event management and model casting. “In our busy lives today, we find it hard to do what we love. But I am glad I found my passion,” says Shagoon.

“I want to bring out the model in every individual and encourage people to make their dreams a reality,” says Shagoon. Akiisha is a platform for men and women to enhance their style and beauty, says Shagoon. “Melbourne is one of the most fashionable cities in the world and it is my vision to inspire every person to travel their own style journey,” says Shagoon.

Akiisha offers services like event management, fashion styling, model casting, personal styling, celebrity styling, image consultancy, wardrobe consultation, merchandise styling, show styling, photographic styling, catalogue styling and commercial styling.

“Everyday is a fashion show and the world is the runway,” said designer Coco Channel, and Akiisha tries to recreate that concept in every way, every day, says Shagoon.

Dear Reader,

The Indian Sun is an independent organisation committed to community journalism. We have, through the years, been able to reach a wide audience especially with the growth of social media, where we also have a strong presence. With platforms such as YouTube videos, we have been able to engage in different forms of storytelling. However, the past few years, like many media organisations around the world, it has not been an easy path. We have a greater challenge. We believe community journalism is very important for a multicultural country like Australia. We’re not able to do everything, but we aim for some of the most interesting stories and journalism of quality. We call upon readers like you to support us and make any contribution. Do make a DONATION NOW so we can continue with the volume and quality journalism that we are able to practice.

Thank you for your support.

Best wishes,
Team The Indian Sun
