From chocolates, Gaurav and Diksha’s Branded Chocolates & Confectionery has expanded to printing on cookies and macaroons, making them the only company in Australia offering this mouth-watering service
With a keen desire to work for themselves and at the same time do something really different and out of the box, partners Gaurav and Diksha spent months researching a business which would satisfy their entrepreneurial as well as creative skills. They finally settled on a patented technology in the US, which could print directly onto the surface of chocolate and became the first ones to bring it to Australia.
Being a new technology, a new product in a completely new country and market, the journey to identify their niche market and sell the product has not been an easy one. After five years of hard work and innovation, their company Branded Chocolates & Confectionery today has a network of almost 1500 distributors all over Australia, with the promotional product industry being their largest supply market.
With their company mottos being ‘If its Edible, its do-able’ and ‘if you can conceive it we can create it’ they have become the ‘go to’ people for anything that’s conceptual, out of the box and innovative. Over the last few years, their products have helped several of their distributors win industry awards in various categories.
Ever since the couple started their company, their two main areas of focus have been – marketing and innovation. They review their range of product each year and always have something new to add to the range to keep their distributors excited and interested. This effort paid off last year when they worked on the idea of being able to print onto macaroons, which made them the first and only company in all of Australia to be able to do so. They were even presented with the ‘Best New Product of the Year’ award by APPA (Australasian Promotional Product Association) for the year 2014. Their vast range of products now includes everything from chocolates and confectionery to cookies and macaroons.
After successfully earning a stable and major share in the promotional product industry, the future for this duo looks bright with their plans to enter the retail and the wedding market over the next few months.

Support Independent Community Journalism
Dear Reader,The Indian Sun exists for one reason: to tell stories that might otherwise go unheard.
We report on local councils, state politics, small businesses and cultural festivals. We focus on the Indian diaspora and the wider multicultural community with care, balance and accountability. We publish in print and online, send regular newsletters and produce video content. We also run media training programs to help community organisations share their own stories.
We operate independently.
Community journalism does not have the backing of large media corporations. Advertising revenue fluctuates. Platform algorithms change. Costs continue to rise. Yet the need for credible, grounded reporting in a multicultural Australia has never been greater.
When you support The Indian Sun, you support:
• Independent reporting on issues affecting migrant communities
• Coverage of local and state decisions that shape daily life
• A platform for small businesses and community groups
• Media training that builds skills within the community
• Journalism accountable to readers
We cannot cover everything, but we work to cover what matters.
If you value thoughtful reporting that reflects Australia’s diversity, we invite you to contribute. Every donation helps us maintain the quality and consistency of our work.
Please consider making a contribution today.
Thank you for your support.
