BJP leader Vijay Jolly has been appointed Global Political Affairs advisor of the Global Organization of People of Indian Origin, International.
Guyana-born Ashook Ramsaran, president GOPIO International with headquarters in New York, US, wrote to Jolly and confirmed his appointment, said a release from Jolly’s office.
GOPIO, formed in 1989, represents the interests of the Overseas Indian Community exceeding 28 million Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and People of Indian Origin (PIOs) in more than 25 nations across the globe.
