A man accused of assaulting an Indian-origin taxi driver in Adelaide dropped his pants to moon at reporters outside a court Tuesday.

Christopher Farinola, 20, from Osborne in Adelaide in South Australia state, who had allegedly assaulted Manbir Singh, 24, at Henely Beach Nov 16 last year, pulled his T-shirt over his head to hide his face and then bared his backside while leaving the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court.

In the attack, Singh suffered a fractured eye socket and partially lost sight in an eye, news.com.au reported.

Four persons were charged in connection with the case.

Co-accused Bradley Field, 20, also appeared for the first time in the court. The date for the hearing of two other men charged over the incident is yet to be fixed.

Farinola was remanded and will have to reappear in court in March.

We’re not able to do everything, but we aim for some of the most interesting stories and journalism of quality. We call upon readers like you to support us and make any contribution.
