Last night I dreamt of my kids rushing out to the Christmas tree to discover no presents. Guess what I did the next day? Yes, you got it, went Christmas shopping. It’s that crazy time of year again and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Green&Gold celebrates its sixth edition this month and what better place to hold a function than at the Titanic Restaurant, Williamstown. Next month I’ll give a complete report on the success of the event, with all those embarrassing tell tale pictures.
As for this month, I thought we’d head to Tasmania, Wine Glass Bay, where I heard there where some whales “doing their thing”. This area is a stunning piece of Australia and well worth a trip, especially at this time of year.
Merimbula in NSW, has also been enjoying their own humpback whale show recently, but I’ve been told the whale season is coming to an end up there, leaving way for the dolphins to take the limelight. I took a trip to Merimbula, staying at the Capri Apartments. Our hosts Jenny and Greg made us feel really welcome, the accommodation took in great water views and was right in town, enabling us to park the car and use our legs to get around. Lots more to tell about these two stunning areas of Australia.
