Most women are known to be multitaskers, a quality that god has gifted more to women than men. Being a woman myself I can confidently say that it’s not easy to multi-task always and it’s an acquired skill. On Saturday, 29 April, I met a bunch of talented women who are running their own business in spite of being a full-time mother. All one needs is passion and a little bit of creativity and these ladies are doing a fabulous job in what they do. Indian Mumpreneurs started as a Facebook group of like-minded women and now there are 140 active members. Artisan Market has been the first platform created by this group to showcase their creativity, skills, the unique products that they have, or the services that they provide etc.
To name a few at the Artisan Market we had home made candles, kids clothes by organic fabric, jewellery, unique purses, reiki specialist, you could learn vocal singing, designer clothes hand picked for you, beautiful sarees etc.
We should not forget to thank the women in our life for doing the juggling act in taking care of her family and following her passion both equally.
