Who can vote?
The Australian public can vote for their chosen nomination.
I have forgotten my password, how can I re-set it?
Please visit the Login Page and click on the ‘Forgot Password’ link. New password will be sent to your registered email address.
Why do you need to register to vote online?
Logging into your account is a key security feature to guard against voting fraud. This will ensure a fair voting and selection process. You can either register your details OR log in using your Facebook account to cast your votes.
Can I change my vote after it has been cast?
No. Once a choice has been made in a particular category, you will not be able to change it. However, if you have not selected any nominee in a category, you can login anytime and do so.
When does the voting begin?
The online voting commences on the 1st of September for the People’s choice awards and 16th of September for the ‘Indian Sun Person of the year’ awards
When will voting close?
Voting will close at midnight on the 31st of October, 2013.
How do I find out the results?
The results will be revealed live during the 2013 IEC Awards night on the 9th of November 2013. Results will also be published on our website.
Can I leave a category out?
Yes, please simply skip any category for which you do not wish to cast a vote by moving on to the ‘Next category’ option.
Can I change my vote after it has been cast?
No, unfortunately, votes once cast cannot be changed. However, if you have missed out any category, you can still log in to the same registered account and cast the vote to that particular category.
