Vege Delight is all about making sure every guest feels spoilt for choice

Being a vegetarian can be quite restrictive when you decide to dine out. And if you are a vegan the choices become even more limited.

In today’s world with changing food habits and life styles people are becoming more and more conscious of what they put into their mouths. And it is indeed heart-warming to see restaurateurs like Rajwant who have understood the need of the clientele and revolutionised their menu to suit their palates.

So what is veganism? It is a type of vegetarian diet that excludes meat, eggs, dairy products and all or anything derived from animals. A vegan diet includes all grains, beans, legumes, vegetables and fruits and the nearly infinite number of foods made by combining them. And so for vegan Sydneysiders, especially those in Western Sydney, and even for those of you who aren’t vegan but have friends or family who are vegan and are looking for good quality food, Vege Delight is one of the best places for both the quality of food and service.

A cosy little restaurant, Vege Delight serves up dishes that are indeed a ‘delight’ to your palate. In today’s complex family-make-ups where one partner is vegan or vegetarian, dining out sometimes can be quite boring as there are very few restaurants that serve an assortment of vegetarian and vegan options.

The menu at Vege Delight is very elaborate and not only does it cover everything Indian, from the North to the South, but it does better, serving up a variety of pizzas and pastas, which means there is something for everyone. Even kids won’t complain!

The choice of the ingredients does not compromise with the taste of the food. In fact, everything is so balanced that the culinary experience is indeed a remarkable one.  I enjoyed their Sarson da Saag with Makki Di Roti. The taste was authentic and the food had the ‘home-made’ feel. It took me back to my days in Amritsar when I had tasted the dish for the first time. Now isn’t that what a dining experience should be all about?

Dear Reader,

The Indian Sun is an independent organisation committed to community journalism. We have, through the years, been able to reach a wide audience especially with the growth of social media, where we also have a strong presence. With platforms such as YouTube videos, we have been able to engage in different forms of storytelling. However, the past few years, like many media organisations around the world, it has not been an easy path. We have a greater challenge. We believe community journalism is very important for a multicultural country like Australia. We’re not able to do everything, but we aim for some of the most interesting stories and journalism of quality. We call upon readers like you to support us and make any contribution. Do make a DONATION NOW so we can continue with the volume and quality journalism that we are able to practice.
