It appears it’s V for visitors, V for victory for ‘V’, Crown Group’s $300-million Western Sydney development as the unique resort-style architecture attracts crowds of buyers, curious onlookers
Parramatta’s long-awaited vertical village, which opened to the public a couple of days ago, has been attracting hundreds of new residents and visitors.
The $300-million Western Sydney development V by Crown Group, referred to by local media as “Parramatta’s Vertical Village,” has drawn visitors from all over Sydney hosting the opening of Neil Perry’s Burger Project, the first in Western Sydney on Friday while 220 new residents have moved in the past month.
The 590-apartment, two-tower development is one of award-winning Australian property developer Crown Group’s latest projects positioned in the heart of Parramatta.
Crown Group Global Head of Sales and Marketing Julian Sedgwick said it he thrilled to see V by Crown Group come to life, as the first tower opened its doors last month.
The building’s unique lobby, resort-style pool and luxury amenities had proven to be huge draws, he said.
“The popularity of apartments at V by Crown Group both for lease and for sale demonstrates the demand for high-quality apartments with resort-style amenities and lively ground-floor cafe atmosphere in Parramatta,” Mr Sedgwick said.
“More than 200 people have already moved in and more than 80 per cent of apartments for sale have already sold, months before our grand-opening. Last week, we saw a queue out the door at the opening of Neil Perry’s Burger Project, which is the first restaurant to open at V by Crown Group’s world-class architecturally-designed ground-floor plaza,” he added.
Designed by Sydney-based Allen Jack + Cottier and Koichi Takada Architects V by Crown Group rises up on two V-shaped columns, each standing a striking three storeys tall. The project was awarded the Five Star Award for Residential High Rise Architecture Australia at the 2016-2017 Asia Pacific Property Awards in July last year.
V by Crown Group will also be home to the first Skye Hotel Suites; Parramatta’s first five-star hotel offering 72 luxury suites set to attract both domestic and international visitors to Parramatta.
The luxury tower features high quality finishes and resort-style amenities including a pool, gym, sauna, conference facilities, music room, theatrette, a library and is set to be home to Parramatta’s highest rooftop bar.
Other ground-floor restaurants and retail outlets including The Shed Café and Shakudo Japanese restaurant. and are scheduled to be open later this year.
The project is located on the corner of Macquarie and Marsden streets, less than 300m from Parramatta Square; Parramatta City Council’s $2-billion redevelopment precinct and a short walk from Parramatta train station, Parramatta Heritage Parklands and Westfield Parramatta.
The development’s second tower is due for completion in May and a grand-opening event is scheduled for later this year.
